How far is the airport from the Spanish language school in San Isidro?

It takes approximately 3 hours to get from San Jose to San Isidro de El General, (where the SEPA Spanish Language School and Environmental Center is located). You can travel on your own, by taxi and bus, or arrange to have us send a vehicle to pick you up.

Independent Travel: To make the trip on your own, you take a taxi to the Musoc bus station. There are buses leaving for San Isidro de El General every hour from early morning to 5:00pm. The cost for the taxi is approximately $40 and the bus ticket is around $6.00.

PLEASE NOTE: After you buy the bus ticket, please call us at SEPA school (506-2771-5586) so we can have your  homestay family waiting for you at the San Isidro bus station!

SEPA Travel! Some people prefer to have us arrange for a taxi or a van to pick them up in San Jose. The cost is $200.00, one way, which you can divide up amongst the other travelers in the van, if you are coming with a group. One of the advantages of traveling this way is that you can stop when you want and learn about the area as you go.
