How to get from Quepos to San Isidro de El General

If you are driving from Quepos to San Isidro, the Pacific highway is the easiest way to go. Beautiful beaches and plentiful surfing opportunities dot your way as you head south towards Dominical. Once you arrive at Dominical, take a left onto highway 243 which will take you straight to San Isidro. The ride takes around one hour.

If you are traveling by public bus, you take the Transporte Blanco bus from downtown Quepos, at the main terminal. The buses from Quepos leave at 5:00 am and 1:30 pm. You’ll want to make sure you get there an hour in advance.

To return to Quepos, the Transporte Blanco buses leave from downtown San Isidro at 7:00 am and 1:30 pm.
