Senior Spanish Program

For many years, SEPA School has been in charge of helping many people practice and learn the Spanish language, especially seniors.

In SEPA any date is good to enjoy and learn; either during our rainy season where you can take Spanish classes and marvel at the green nature and relaxing sound of the rain or during our dry season, where you will have the freedom to spend your weekends on the beach or the mountain. Thanks to our location all that is possible.

Seniors Spanish Program:

Our programs are designed to help the student understand and be able to survive in a Spanish-speaking country. Our focus is on teaching grammar and at the same time practicing it through games and activities. On a schedule of 4 hours per day, the student can learn verbs, conjugations, courtesy phrases and survival verbs, this with the purpose of making their stay more favorable.

Among the activities that our Senior Spanish programs include is the visit to the farmer´s market, where the student will have to talk and ask questions to the farmers and local people, as well as find out directions. Another activity is the cooking class, where our students learn verbs and commands while preparing a typical Costa Rican dish. We focus on fun and interactive activities to make the learning process easy and enjoyable.

Schedule:

We have 2 class schedules, in the morning or afternoon. For the Standard program, the student will have 3 hours of Spanish per day, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am or from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. With the Intensive program the schedule would be from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Homestay:

An important part of our Seniors Spanish program is the homestay. Having the oportunity to interact with native speakers all day long is helpful to memorize and practice everything you learn at School.We offer an excellent, well-vetted array of host families that are experienced, so students will receive real life practice in the Spanish language.
